Classifications Explained

F-Class divides into F-Open, allowing any calibre up to .35 with front rests, and F-TR, restricted to .223 or .308 calibres with bipods and weight limits. Our unique Stalking Rifle class welcomes newcomers using standard stalking rifles.

Our Classic Rifle events focus on rifles manufactured before 1955, shot prone at 300 yards using a front rest. Popular models include Lee Enfields, Schmidt Rubin, Carl Gustavs, and Mosin Nagants.
Competitors choose from three sighting classes: open sights, dioptre sights, and scoped, with open sights being the most common. This format offers an affordable entry point into competitive shooting.

Precision Pistol and Revolver disciplines challenge shooters with varied positions including prone, kneeling, seated, and standing. Competitors use both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols tailored to their chosen category.
Disciplines cover smallbore pistols chambered in .22lr and centrefire pistols using calibres like 9mm, .38, and .40. Each event tests accuracy and control across multiple shooting stances.

Gallery Rifle Shooting Overview

Gallery Rifle competitions focus on small calibre rifles fired from the shoulder, offering a dynamic shooting experience. Participants engage in various shooting positions such as sitting, kneeling, and standing, testing their adaptability and control.
The discipline is divided into three main categories: Smallbore Gallery Rifle (GRSB) using semi-automatic .22lr rifles, Centrefire Gallery Rifle (GRCF) featuring lever-action rifles chambered in pistol calibres like .38 and .44, and M1 Carbine Gallery Rifle (GRMC) for semi-automatic rifles chambered in .30 calibre.
Each category challenges shooters with distinct firearms and techniques, including advanced stages that require shooting from both strong and weak shoulders. This variety ensures a comprehensive skill development for all levels.
